Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject Nursing care of patients with infectious diseases is to acquaint students with the diagnostics, treatment, prophylaxis, and prevention of infectious, or more precisely, communicable diseases.
The student knows special characteristics of diseases in the old age, both from a general perspective and from a perspective of specific disease groups. The aim of the course Nursing Care of Patients with Infectious Diseases is to acquaint students with diagnostics, treatment, prophylaxis, and prevention of infectious, or, as the case may be, of transmittable diseases. The student has specialized theoretical and practical knowledge of the nursing process in the care of patients with an infectious illness.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance assessment, Didactic test
Completion of compulsory 70% attendance at the lectures. Completion of compulsory 80% attendance at the practicum sessions and seminars. Completing assigned written work. Successful completion of a written test.
