International collaboration during disasters. Conducting and organizing rescue and relief work during a joint intervention of the segments of the integrated rescue service. Organization of activities of health care segments while conducting rescue and relief work at the site of an emergency. Terrorism. The system of care of the dead. Typological plans to manage crises. Organizing practice in health care facilities. Health care documentation in situations involving an emergency. Providing information in an emergency (family and media). Table top practice: response to an emergency. Presentations of assigned work - analyses of emergencies

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to provide students with basic knowledge of the crisis management field.
Students are well versed in the public administration system and the crisis management system. They know the basic terminology pertaining to the crisis management field and know the Czech Republic health care crisis preparedness. They are well versed in the protection of the population, know the legal aspects of crisis management, are familiar with the emergency and crisis planning, know the system and principles of traumatological planning, know the principles of coordination of rescue and relief work during a joint intervention of the integrated rescue system bodies, and know the tasks and organization of activities of the health care services during rescue and relief work at the site of an emergency according to current knowledge of disaster medicine. They are able to conduct and organize an intervention by the health care services during an emergency, are able to evaluate the emergency mainly in terms of the specific risks and requirements for the strength and resources inherent in the health care services, and are able to adapt the tactics of the intervention depending on the type of the emergency and the current conditions. They engage in health care documentation concerning the emergency and indicate the use of personal protective equipment and other material resources.
