Course content
|
Markers in clinical biochemistry and their evaluation. Immunological markers and their determination. Recognition of poisonings and poisons. Small portable analysers and point-of-care diagnostics. Diagnostics and instrumental analysis in forensic practice. Trends and technologies in instrumental diagnostics.

Learning outcomes
|
The course focuses on instrumental analyses used in the diagnosis of diseases and various pathological conditions.
Students are familiar with the importance of testing, basic principles, methods, material and time requirements for determination and other relevant aspects related to the problems of instrumental diagnostics in clinical biochemistry, toxicology, and immunology.

Oral examination
Compulsory specified attendance in lectures and seminars. Passing a written test or oral examination as decided by the course guarantor.
