The course focuses on practical training in dealing with crisis situations. The aim is to improve already acquired knowledge and skills, especially in emergency medicine, anaesthesiology and resuscitation. The course also focuses on improving teamwork and non-technical skills of individual team members. The primary focus is on practicing simulated scenarios on simulated patients with continuous IP camera recording followed by video review and comprehensive debriefing. The course also focuses on working with an error in a safe simulated environment.
The graduate knows the causes, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of acute conditions, and they can apply the algorithms used in pre-hospital and intensive care. They know and can use the technical and medical equipment of an ambulance, emergency room or Anaesthesiology and resuscitation unit. They know the different areas of non-technical skills and use them at work. They are able to accept criticism and recognise their own and other people's mistakes.
