Course content
|
The nursing unit, the preventatively therapeutic regimen. Care of the bed. Dressing materials. Care of instruments. Care of the client's basic biological needs. Therapeutic functions. Collecting biological material. Puncture, endoscopic examination. Care of the dead body.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquire basic theoretical knowledge and practical skill to perform nursing procedures that form the core of professional skills of general nurses and midwives.
The student acquires and uses a basic manual skill and confidence while performing safe and high-quality specialized functions and procedures in the care of clients. The student independently performs individual nursing procedures and respects the client's individual needs.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance assessment, Didactic test
The fulfillment of compulsory 80% attendance at lectures, exercises and seminars. The fulfillment of a written test of 70%. The fulfillment of the practical test.
