Course content
|
Anatomic nomenclature and anatomical terms of location. Locomotor system. Tissues, bones, muscles, joints. Anatomy of head and neck. Anatomy of the spine and the chest. Anatomy of the upper and lower limbs. The muscles of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis. Anatomy of larynx, trachea, and bronchi. Anatomy of lungs, pleura, and mediastinum. Anatomy of the oral cavity, pharynx, and oesophagus. Anatomy of stomach, small and large intestine. Anatomy of liver, gall bladder, pancreas, and peritoneum. Anatomy of the heart and blood vessels. Anatomy of urinary system.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to acquaint students both with macroscopic and microscopic anatomy and to teach them how to use professional medical language.
Students are able to correctly present structure and location of organs, to use medical terms and understands them, and to put acquired knowledge in practice. Based on the acquired knowledge, students are able to understand the context of prevention and treatment of diseases.

|
Didactic test
Completion of compulsory 80% attendance at the lectures. Successful completion of a written test. Successful completion of a oral exam.
