Course content
|
Fundamentals of law theory, development and function of the law, sources of the law, legal standards, legal relations. Fundamentals of constitutional law, state form, organs of state, fundamental human rights. Fundamentals of administrative law, administrative proceedings. Fundamental of civil law, legal acts, material laws, contract law. Fundamentals of labour law, contract of employment, liability for damage, agreement outside of contract of employment, occupational injury. Particularities of legal accountability in health care, law of the skill, accountability for subordinates, confidentiality of health care workers. Legal protection of health care workers. Fundamentals of family law, marriage, relationships between parents and children, support payments. Legal standards regulating activity of health care workers and legal standards connected to this activity.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to gain basic knowledge of the law by the students. Becoming acquainted in the legal regulations and individual directives, systemic understanding of the law and its effect on social relationships. Becoming acquainted with selected chapters of the law that focus on health care.
The student will master the material according to the syllabus, and according to the basic and recommended literature.

Assessment methods and criteria

Didactic test
Completion of compulsory 80% attendance at the lectures, practicum sessions and seminars. Successful completion of a written test.
