Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to learn about basic transfer and spread mechanisms of infectious diseases in a population that is in a crisis situation.
The student is familiar with transfer mechanisms of infectious illnesses, components of the epidemic process, decontamination options, disinfection, disinfection under field conditions, and with assessment of drinking-water quality and potability.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination
Completion of compulsory 80% attendance at the practicum sessions and seminars. Successful completion of an oral examination.
