Course content
|
Therapeutic performances. Basics of rehabilitation nursing. Collection of biological material - principles of collection, transport and preservation of biological materials, specifics in the approach to pediatric patients. Puncture. Caring for a dead body. Administration of drugs - principles of handling and application of drugs, dosage forms, methods of application, infusion, transfusion, specifics of drug administration to children. Opiates - manipulation and documentation of opiates. Medical rehabilitation. Collection of biological material. Puncture. Caring for the deceased.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with basic concepts and topics from nursing procedures and to prepare them for the activities that are the content of the work of NLZP in health and social institutions, in the home environment.
Students know the principles of nursing procedures, accept methodological recommendations related to the issue, and work according to the latest knowledge of science. They are able to plan, lead, and evaluate nursing processes and to prevent unwanted situations arising from the implementation of nursing care within the multidisciplinary team.

Student performance assessment, Didactic test
Fulfilling the mandatory 80% participation in exercises. Completion of a written test or an oral examination as decided by the subject guarantor.
