Course content
|
Personality traits - acquired. Gaining knowledge about personalities. Fundamentals of social psychology - socialization, social learning. Social group, the group's influence on individuals. Social perception, perceptual stereotypes. Social attitudes, their formation, and change. Prosocial behaviour. The group and attitudes in the group. Personality. Types of stressful situations and their management. The burnout syndrome.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to give students basic information from the area of general and developmental psychology, to acquaint them with the essence of the personality while emphasizing the patient's personality/client.
Student knows the basic information from the field of psychology and he/ she uses them actively in the provision of care.

Assessment methods and criteria
|

Completion of compulsory 50% attendance at the lectures and of compulsory 80% attendance at the practicum sessions. Completion of a written test or oral examination according to the course guarantor's decision. The fulfillment seminar work on the exercise.
