Course content
Personality traits - acquired. Gaining knowledge about personalities. Fundamentals of social psychology - socialization, social learning. Social group, the group's influence on individuals. Social perception, perceptual stereotypes. Social attitudes, their formation, and change. Prosocial behaviour. The group and attitudes in the group. Personality. Types of stressful situations and their management. The burnout syndrome.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Skills training, Stimulating activities (simulation, games, drama)
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to give students basic information from the area of general and developmental psychology, to acquaint them with the essence of the personality while emphasizing the patient's personality.
The student is able to explain the position of psychology as a science in a system of social sciences, is able to analyze mental activities, processes, and states and their disorders. Through learning about his/her personality, he/she is able to better understand other people. He/she understands the differences of the human psyche in individual stages of development. He/she is able to use basic techniques of management of stressful situations.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment, Didactic test, Discussion, Systematic monitoring

The fulfillment of compulsory 50% attendance at lectures. The fulfillment the mandatory 80% of active participation in exercises. Successful completion of a written or oral examination according to the course guarantor's decision. The fulfillment seminar work.
