The aim of the course is to help students to process and evaluate their experience from practice with an assistance of a well designed agreement in a balanced supervisory triangle (practice - school - students); to teach them to perceive human suffering and dying from a bio-psychosocial-spiritual perspective; and to equip them with a practical experience with managerial tools, which they could later use in directing nurses.
The student acquaints himself/herself with various types of worker support in achieving and maintaining quality work and will be able, as much as possible, to wholly (in a systems context) perceive and in a form of a case study to express his/her needs and values and those of the patient in palliative and terminal care.
