Pregnancy. Prenatal care. High-risk pregnancy . Genetic counselling. Childbirth. Obstetrics operations. Alternative methods in obstetrics. Puerperium. First aid for childbirth outside an institution. Caring for a woman with a physiological and high-risk pregnancy. Nursing process of a woman before, during and after her childbirth and in the puerperium. Training the leading of childbirth outside an institution.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the gynaecology part of the course is to familiarize students with the field of gynaecology, in particular with the physiology of the female reproductive system and diseases of the genitals. The aim of the obstetrics part of the course is to introduce students to the physiology of pregnancy, the course of labour and puerperium, high-risk pregnancy and obstetric operations, education to motherhood, and issues of planned parenthood.
Students know and use modern examination methods, the organisation of women's care and the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the reproductive organs, and they are familiar with the problems of nursing care of a pregnant woman.

Written examination, Work-related product analysis
Completion of compulsory 80% attendance at the practicum sessions and seminars. Successful completion of a written or oral examination according to the course guarantor's decision.
