Course content
Basic gynecological abdominal, vaginal and external genital surgery. Endoscopy in gynaecology - opening. Laparoscopy. Laparoscopic robotics. Hysteroscopy. Abdominal emergencies in gynaecology. Conservative and radical surgery in oncological gynaecology. Surgical procedures in urogynaecology. Ureteral stenting. Surgical procedures for pelvic floor dysfunctions. Surgical procedures to treat infertility and as part of assisted reproduction. Surgical treatment in pregnancy. Surgery in association with pregnancy and childbirth. Complications and reoperation in gynaecology and obstetrics.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to deepen theoretical and practical knowledge of the anatomy of the female reproductive organs and specific requirements of surgical treatment in gynaecology and obstetrics.
Students become familiar with the topographical anatomy of the female reproductive organs. Students are familiar with all types of surgical procedures performed in the treatment of gynecologically ill and pregnant women.

Completion of compulsory 80% attendance at the lectures. Successful completion of an oral or written examination according to the decision of the guarantor of the study.
