Course content
Endoscopy in gynaecology. Laparoscopy. Laparoscopic robotics. Hysteroscopy. Abdominal emergencies in gynaecology. Conservative and radical surgery in oncological gynaecology. Surgical procedures in urogynaecology. Ureteral stenting. Surgical procedures for pelvic floor dysfunctions. Surgical procedures to treat infertility and as part of assisted reproduction. Surgical treatment in pregnancy. Surgery in association with pregnancy. Surgery in association with childbirth. Complications and reoperation in gynaecology and obstetrics.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to deepen theoretical and practical knowledge of the anatomy of the female reproductive organs and in the area of specific requirements of each type of surgical treatment in gynaecology and obstetrics.
Students know all the types of surgical procedures performed as part of treatment of gynaecological patients and pregnant women.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination, Home assignment evaluation

Completion of compulsory 80% attendance at the lectures. Completion of the established number of teaching hours of practicum sessions (only 15% of excused absence can be credited). Successful completion of a written test or oral examination.
