Course content
Risk factors for the development of malignant tumours in gynaecology. Principles of secondary prevention. Precancerosis and tumours of external and internal genital organs. Complex treatment of malignant tumours of reproductive organs. Breast illnesses. Patient surveillance and follow-up in oncology.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to gain knowledge and skills in the area of aetiology, diagnostics and treatment of gynaecological inflammation, sexually transmitted diseases, and non-malignant and malignant tumours of the genitals.
Students will know the basics of urogynaecology, especially the issue of women's urine incontinence and also the issue of other urological complications in the gynaecological practice. Students are able to create standard of care plans and implement it in the form of process in midwifery with an emphasis on prevention and ethical decision-making. Students will apply their knowledge of anatomy, physiology, microbiology, psychology, and ethics.
