Pedagogy as a scientific discipline. The development of pedagogical principles. Educational reality: fundamental concepts and relationships. Educational processes and learning. The subject of education, the profession of the educator. Educational environment. Fundamentals of didactics. Engaging didactic methods. The health and social worker in the role of the educator. Types of education. Basic assumptions of education. Educational case history. The educational plan method - goal, content, knowledge, and tools. Organization of the educational lesson, and educational program. The EUR model. Evaluation of education. Alternative educational methods used in education.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to provide students with basic information from the field of pedagogy, didactics, and education.
Students apply knowledge and experience gained in the lectures to practice. Student can obtain educational history. Students can develop and use education and educational programs for the healthy, ill, and handicapped in all the developmental stages. Students successfully perform an evaluation of the educational process.
