Course content
The history of the concept of comprehensive (re)habilitation. Legislative measures, strategic documents. Terminology in an integrated, coordinated (re)habilitation. Interdepartmental and multidisciplinary team approach. Comprehensive services for people with disabilities. Therapeutic component. The International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health. Diagnostic and therapeutic resources. Educational component - terminology, systems and forms of education of persons with disabilities. Social component including economic social security. Working component. The technical component. Rehabilitation, compensation and re-education tools.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the concept of comprehensive coordinated (re) habilitation in the world and in the Czech Republic.
Students can outline the possibilities of support for people with special needs with regard to the use of comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach.
