Course content
The current state of care of children at an early age in the CR and EU countries (health and social aspects). Early care as a social preventions service pursuant to Social Services Act 108/2006 Coll. Inter-departmental cooperation in the field of integrated early care, authority for health, authority for social affairs, authority for education, social and legal authority. Early interdisciplinary comprehensive diagnosis of the child at an early age. Early care of children with a visual, hearing, or combined disability. Early care of children with a threatened development as a result of adverse pre- and perinatal circumstances, with a physical and combined disability. Comprehensive rehabilitation of the family with a child at an early age - foster families, adoptive families, and families with a child with a disability. Institutional care of children at an early age with special needs. Early care centre. Institutional education.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to acquaint students with the concept of modern early care in the CR and EU countries. Emphasis is on the analysis of issues of various target groups of integrated early care and on comprehensive rehabilitation of the family.
The student understands integrated early care in the CR and EU and is familiar with the area of target groups of integrated early care and comprehensive rehabilitation of the family.

Completion of compulsory 80% attendance at the lectures. Completion of compulsory 80% attendance at the practicum sessions and seminars. Successful completion of an oral examination. Successful completion of assigned independent work.
