Course content
Review of the foundations of ultrasound diagnostics. Normal ultrasound findings in the uterus, ovaries, and vagina. Ultrasound diagnostics - tumours and cysts of internal genital organs. Ultrasound in perioperative care. Examination of residual urine. Examination of free fluid. Examination methods in urogynaecology. Ultrasound in perioperative care - practice. Nursing care in the urogynaecology outpatient clinic - practice. Nursing care while conducting an examination and perioperative securement of the urinary pathways - practice assistance.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to acquire terminology and practical skills in the area of examination methods related to pathology of the female reproductive system.
