Course content
Main lecture topics: Issues of e-Government in the Czech Republic. The problem of office restructuring. Secure document exchange. Remote access to the office. Electronic signature, time stamps. Certified authorities. Long-term storage of electronic documents. Remote monitoring of application processing.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquire theoretical knowledge in the field of e-Government. Special attention will be paid to secure document exchange, methods of remote access to the office, issues of remote monitoring of application processing, electronic signature, issues of certified authorities.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Self project defence

Preparation, presentation and successful defense of a project related to the subject matter and focused on a doctoral dissertation, exam: oral with a minimum of 60% success rate.
