Aspects of data relevance. Data and functional modeling, methods and tools. Abstract programming. Data modeling approaches, blending of approaches. Linkage of data and process modeling. Identification of data indicators for monitoring and evaluation. Development trends in public administration organizations.

The aim of the course is to acquire theoretical knowledge, procedures and principles of data modeling, especially for use in improving the performance and efficiency of business processes.

The form of the exam represents the presentation of the final solution of an independent project by the student, where the student defends the outputs and the knowledge gained in a professional discussion. The student is led to independent work in the preparation of a project from the material being discussed. As part of the project solution, the student independently searches for problems that can be solved using the methods included in the subject, presents partial and final solutions to his project, and defends the knowledge gained in a professional discussion.
