Language exam focusing both on accuracy and fluency of the candidate's performance in a foreign language by means of completing the tasks set within the standardized testing materials.

Learning outcomes
|
The course is offered in tutorials by appointment. The course is designed to develop existing language skills in job-related contexts. An essential part of the course is using texts related to economic pattern. Learners extend their knowledge of sorting and using current information and improve their skill in the target language. The expected entry level is A2 according to the Council of Europe Common Framework. Learners are expected to have the skill of collecting and processing information. The target level is A2+ in German for Specific Purposes according to CEFR.
The course is designed to build on high school language skills. The expected language level is A2 according to the Council of Europe Framework. Students are able to communicate in everyday topics and can make themselves understood when travelling to the countries where the target language is spoken.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Home assignment evaluation, Didactic test
Active participation in the Moodle e-learning course, achieving a minimum success rate of 60%, and submitting all e-learning correspondence assignments. The written test will assess mastery of grammatical structures and lexical phenomena. Assessment will be based on a combination of an oral examination and various forms of written testing. The minimum pass rate is 60%.
