Course content
Language and culture Intercultural Aspects of Business. Multicultural environment. Cross-cultural critical situation. Evaluation of critical moments in cross-cultural interactions. Social Interaction in the business environment. Aspects of politeness in business interaction. Marketing motives and market forces. Global Markets.

Learning outcomes

The student is able to communicate interactively at C1 level, is versed in using extended Business and Academic English vocabulary. C1/BE: Speaking: interactivity, distinguishing register. Reading: mastering reading techniques, advanced use of dictionaries and sources of information. Writing: respecting style and register. Listening: comprehension of commonly mediated types of listening (Working English).

- for non-native speakers Communicative competence: CEFR B2+ in general English.

Student performance assessment, Oral performance analysis

Course participation of at least 70% required as specified by the Decree. Completion of tasks set by the teacher.
