Course content
Introducing oneself, meeting colleagues. Working in Germany, Application for a Job. In an Office. Planning activities. Covering needs. Economy. Prices. Consumption. Banking. Standardized final language exam which consists of both the written and the oral part and which also reflects the specific command of language relevant to the student's professional needs.

Learning outcomes
The target of the course is expansion of general vocabulary and business vocabulary, grammatical structures and skills in both general German level B1 according to The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and in German for Specific Purposes (speaking, writing and reading skill and listening comprehension). The target level is B1 in German for Specific Purposes according to CEFR.
The course is designed to build on high school language skills. The expected language level is B1 according to the Council of Europe Framework. Students are able to communicate in everyday topics and can make themselves understood during their travel to the corresponding country.
Prerequisites
The expected entry level is B1 according to the Council of Europe Common Framework. Learners are expected to have the skill of collecting and processing information. The target level is B1 in German for Specific Purposes according to CEFR.

Assessment methods and criteria
Home assignment evaluation, Didactic test

Active participation in the e-learning course with minimum pass mark 60%; submitting all e-learning assigments. 70% active attendance at the contact lessons.
