Learning outcomes
|
The subject provides more space for the expansion of the knowledge and skills obtained during the previous studies. An emphasis is put on the development of the abilities to apply the adopted language instruments and speech skills to the needs of effective communication in the academic environment. The target level is B2+ in the area of English for Academic Purposes (EAP). The subject may be taught remotely.
The student acquires communication skills on the B2+ level of CEFR in the area of English for Academic Purposes (EAP).

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Home assignment evaluation, Oral performance analysis
An essay at the at end of the course plus two other assignments upon the teacher's requirements. Subject completion requirements in case of a distance teaching mode: Based on the teacher´s requirements, the student participates in online lessons according to the schedule and completes the assigned tasks via the online systems Moodle / MS Teams.
