Learning outcomes
|
The subject provides more space for the expansion of the knowledge and skills obtained during the previous studies. An emphasis is put on the development of the abilities to apply the adopted language instruments and speech skills to the needs of effective communication in the practice after graduation. The course includes working with technical texts and studying materials from the fields of information and computer science and economics. The target level is B2 within the CEFR.

Assessment methods and criteria

Completing 70% of course seminars. Completing the credit requirements upon the teacher's requirements. Exam/credit test based on the content of the seminars. The completed level of students' language competence will be evaluated within the final examinations using standardized testing materials. Subject completion requirements in case of a distance teaching mode: Based on the teacher´s requirements, the student participates in online lessons according to the schedule and completes the assigned tasks via the online systems Moodle / MS Teams.
