Course content
|
Communicative skills - offers - refusing/accepting invitations, telling the date, time, arranging a meeting; Grammar and vocabulary - irregular verbs etre, avoir, venir, savoir, connaitre, days of the week; culture topics - Free time of the French. Communicative skills - expressing quantity; Grammar and vocabulary - direct object, irregular verbs prendre, boire, payer; Culture topics - Food. Communicative skills - asking the way, directions; Grammar and vocabulary - imperative, constricted article au, du, irregular verbs plaire, faire, plaisir, offrir, ordinal numbers; the town; Culture topics - the French and games.

Learning outcomes
|
The course is designed to foster language skills at the level of A1. Emphasis is put on speaking, listening and reading comprehension and grammar.
Students are able to express themselves in the present, future and past simple tense (passé composé). They manage to conjugate basic irregular verbs. They are also able to communicate in basic situations.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination, Written examination
Written test at the end of the course. After passing the test (min. 70%), oral part follows. Attendance min. 75%.
