Learning outcomes
|
The course is designed to build on language skills acquired within the UPR1 course. At the end of the two semesters four basic language skills are developed: reading and listening comprehension, writing and speaking skills. The final level of communicative competence at the end of the course should be A2+. Subject completion requirements in case of a distance teaching mode: Based on the teacher´s requirements, the student participates in online lessons according to the schedule and completes the assigned tasks via the online systems Moodle / MS Teams.
Students are able to understand and use most frequent phrases. Students at this level can introduce themselves and ask simple questions of personal relevance and are also able to make themselves understood in case the conversation is lead at a slow pace.

Prerequisites
|
- for non-native speakers Communicative competence: CEFR A1 in general Russian. Meeting the requirements of the UPR1A course in all 4 skills in ESP.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Home assignment evaluation, Didactic test
Attending 70% of the sessions Completion of all prescribed assignments Exam/ Credit is based on the summary of materials/topics covered in the sessions.
