Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to develop the basic language skills, to improve abilities to handle information in various specific discourses, to increase interest in German learning and using, to consolidate knowledge and command of the German grammar structures, to extend the passive and active command of basic medical vocabulary, to obtain knowledge on how to communicate in German with doctors, patients, and colleagues both home and abroad.
Skills and competences: Learners will be able to understand complex texts, to handle job-related topics and to give reasons for their opinions. They will be able to draft a detailed text on a wide range of topics.

Communicative competence: CEFR B1 in general German.

Assessment methods and criteria

Home assignment evaluation, Didactic test
Student requirements Portfolio of assignments submitted by a given date. Written test (pass mark 60%).
