Key learning outcomes The aim of the study program is to prepare university qualified experts in the field of design, development, construction, operation in electronics applications and information transmission by communication systems. In terms of areas of education, SP is designed in the field of electrical engineering, it is significantly oriented to the application of new knowledge. Graduates will be employed in the positions of technicians or in leading positions in the industrial sphere. The study also provides a sufficient theoretical basis for further professional growth in the master's study. Students will learn about the architecture and functional blocks of modern communication systems and equipment. The graduate's knowledge will cover the areas of information processing from various sources (data, sound, video signals), conversion to a signal suitable for transmission and selection of suitable communication technologies. In the areas of information transfer, students learn not only the principle of systems and networks, but also the hardware solution of devices and their elements, in terms of their use, design and construction. Acquired knowledge is experimentally verified in radio sensor systems and telematic networks. During the study, students use modern laboratory equipment, where they verify their theoretical knowledge, which leads to a better understanding of the theoretical interpretation and at the same time increases the graduate's competencies. Students will gain knowledge in the fields of mathematics, physics and electrical engineering, electronics, circuits and measurements, in terms of design, practical implementation or maintenance of electrical equipment used in modern systems. The range of acquired knowledge and skills will be supported by the solution of project activities in cooperation with technological companies.
