Key learning outcomes The objective of this specialisation is to educate specialists who will apply their knowledge of the current religious issues in the historical context and in connection with the socio-cultural reality of today's civilisation. Graduates will be able to support intercultural cooperation while working in various professions; they will be able to work with minorities and immigrants and to deal with the manifestations of religious extremism. Graduates will have acquired information on individual religions and they will have been presented to attitudes of other disciplines (mainly psychology, psycho-pathology, anthropology, sociology, demography, political science, law and the science of social environment) towards religion. At least one religion will be studied on the basis of knowledge of texts in original languages. Typical professions of graduates include: publicist, counselling specialist, therapist, social worker, worker in public associations and public administration. Graduates of the bachelor study programme may continue in master programmes of religious studies or in other related disciplines.
