Course content
|
There are presented knowledge development, successes and failures accompanying restoration and conservation process. These aspects are presented using significant and methodological models of treated historical complexes (National Museum Lapidárium in Prague, Carolinum complex, the house U Zvonu, Valdštejnský palác, Queen summer house in Prague Castle, etc.) and supported by analysing approaches to methodology, techniques and materials development, restoration treatments coordination considering latest development in the field in the last century, particularly in Bohemia countries territory.

Learning outcomes
|
Subject objective consists in making students acquainted with branch inter-relationships development considering methodology, technology and techniques within cultural heritage restoration field.
Students are familiar with history of cultural heritage care methodology related to restoration; they are capable of applying them at assessing previous restoration treatment in order to carry out the next.

Oral examination
Oral examination shall examine the knowledge of the concepts discussed substance.
