Course content |
Fundamental sum of information on practical aspects restorer's profession considering organization, legislation, administration, finance as well as personal time management, professional skills and ethics. Stone in architecture, stonework. Timber, carpentry, joinery. Wood and interior furnishing, joinery and special crafts. Forged components, further metals in historic buildings, smith craft. Mortar, renderings, plaster, stucco, stucco craft. Brick, roofing and other structural components made of baked clay.

Course objective consists in making students acquainted with fundamental terms and procedures applied to historic construction trowel trade and craft. Students are able to cope with building history since branches oriented restoration of stone and wall painting are closely related to architecture.
