Course content |
Usability engineering. Usability engineering lifecycle. Users analysis, tasks analysis nad analysis of the context of use. Suggestion and design of usable user interfaces. Usability testing based on users. Usability evaluation based on experts. Usability evaluation based on models. Usability testing and evaluation of non-standard user interfaces. Economic evaluation of usability engineering activities.

Learning outcomes |
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with particular methods of usability engineering. Students will be able to choose and apply the appropriate method in a definite situation whereas their decision is supported by adequate arguments.
Student will be able to suitably apply methods of the usability engineering for testing and evaluation of user interfaces of software products. |

Home assignment evaluation, Creative work analysis
Processing and successful defense of a given project of subject matter within the discussion with emphasis on implementation of knowledge into disseration work. A general view of doctoral candidates in the usability engineering methods. |
