Course content

Learning outcomes
This course is first oriented to general management methods and then transfers orientation to organization theories for a company and to employees leadership. Last part of the course explains strategic approaches and also experience of successful companies abroad.
Student (PhD student) will be familiar with modern approaches to creating optimal organizational structures, including leading personnel by managers in these structures. Emphasis will be placed on preparation and implementation of changes in companies, lean manufacturing, JIT and Kaizen methods and identification of top foreign companies and managers.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Home assignment evaluation, Discussion

The applicant will work out an essay in the minimum of 15 pages, its content will be discussed with the lecturer first. The examination consists of an essay defence and an oral exam.
