Course content
|
Usability engineering. Usability engineering life cycle. Analysis of users, their tasks and the context of software use. Design and creation of usable user interfaces. User-based usability testing methods. Expert-based usability evaluation methods. Usability evaluation methods based on models. Testing and usability evaluation of non-standard user interfaces. Evaluation of economic benefits of usability engineering activities.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with various methods of usability engineering. Students will be able to select and apply an appropriate method in a given situation, being able to support their decision with adequate arguments.

Self project defence
Teaching will be carried out in person at the scheduled time. Consultations will be carried out at a fixed time. Outside of this time, consultations are possible only by prior arrangement. Consultations can be carried out both in person and online via MS Teams.
