Learning outcomes
Personalized medicine (Personalized Medicine or Precision Medicine) is a field that focuses on investigating the health and personal needs of individuals. The field consists of prevention, diagnosis, treatment and subsequent personalized care. To this end, it uses methods that provide accurate and complete data about individuals throughout patient care. The methods include a wide range of examinations that provide a complete picture of the health/disease of a particular individual. The content of the theme is to introduce the most modern procedures and methods that enable such a comprehensive and tailored approach to the individual. Data processing is an essential component of this field. However, personal medicine raises many legal and ethical issues, so it is also discussed.
