Current diagnostic approach to internal medicine subspecialties. New pharmacological approach (classes) to current conservative treatment in internal medicine subspecialties. New therapeutic approach to internal medicine subspecialties. Using EBN in practice.

Learning outcomes |
The aim of the subject is to acquaint students with the newest diagnostic and treatment methods in internal medicine subspecialties. Attention is paid to changes in pharmacological approach to treatment. Emphasis is placed upon the issue of ethics and the importance of a creative approach of the healthcare personnel to the patient.
Students will be better able to get their bearings concerning the newest diagnostic and therapeutic methods; they will be able to evaluate the effectiveness of nursing practices, to innovate procedures based on current information as well as on evidence-based practices abroad, to develop educational materials and to introduce new findings into nursing practice more effectively. |
