Course content
Language and culture Intercultural Aspects of Business. Social Interaction in the business environment. Aspects of politeness in business interaction. Marketing motives and market forces. The global student. Standardized didactic test measuring the level of acquisition of the course content.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Skills training, Stimulating activities (simulation, games, drama)
Learning outcomes

The student is able to communicate interactively at B1+ level, is versed in using extended Business and Academic English vocabulary. B1+/BE: Speaking: interactivity, distinguishing register. Reading: mastering reading techniques, advanced use of dictionaries and sources of information. Writing: respecting style and register. Listening: comprehension of commonly mediated types of listening (Working English).
Prerequisites
Communicative competence: CEFR B1 in general English.

Assessment methods and criteria
Home assignment evaluation, Oral performance analysis, Student portfolio analysis

Students'language acquisition level will be tested by standardized tests.
