Course content
Internet and PC. Working in a Plant. Sales. Trade Fair. Import- Export. Applying for a Job. German Economy. Standardized final language exam which consists of both the written and the oral part and which also reflects the specific command of language relevant to the student's professional needs.

Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Methods of individual activities
Learning outcomes
The course objective is further enhancement of language skills acquired and also fostering students' overall communication competence. The course develops vocabulary for specific purposes, and also practices listening and reading, specially in topics corresponding to their field of study. The final level of communicative competence at the end of the course should be B1+.
Students are able to formulate their thoughts relating to their branch of study in writing and speaking. They are able to write detailed texts from a broad variety of topics.
Prerequisites
Communicative competence: CEFR B1+ in general German.

Assessment methods and criteria
Home assignment evaluation, Didactic test

Test: 4 parts. Reading comprehension, cloze test, writing (business letter, e-mail etc.), listening comprehension. Pass: min 60% from each of the parts. Study e-course 6 modules pro term.
