Course content
Meeting a business partner. Telephoning, messages. Jobs. Short business communication. Formal letters. Enquiries, offers, orders. Dealing with problems. Supply demand, production. Types of organizations. Retail trade. Money matters. Marketing. Management Final test based on the standardized test items.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Work with text (with textbook, with book), Skills training, Stimulating activities (simulation, games, drama)
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to draw on and improve formerly acquired language skills and enlarge relevant vocabulary for professional environment. The focus will be on speaking skills.
The student can participate in common communication on topics occuring at work, at school and in free time. He or she can create a coherent piece of text on topis familiar to him or her. The target level of the course is B1+.
Prerequisites
Communicative competence: CEFR level B1 in general English.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral performance analysis, Didactic test

Credit test - 60% and 60% attendance in class
