Course content
Planning, coordinating and agreeing on appointments and activities. On the phone. Writing emails. Time and money. The new world of work. Online shopping. On a business trip. Trade fairs and events. Presenting your company/product. Standardized final language exam which consists of both the written and the oral part and which also reflects the specific command of language relevant to the student's professional needs.

Learning outcomes
The target of the course is expansion of general vocabulary and business vocabulary, grammatical structures and skills in both general German level A2+ according to The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and in German for Specific Purposes (speaking, writing and reading skill and listening comprehension). The target level is B1 in German for Specific Purposes according to CEFR.
The course is designed to build on high school language skills. The expected language level is A2+ according to the Council of Europe Framework. Students are able to communicate in everyday topics and can make themselves understood during their travel to the corresponding country.
Prerequisites
The expected entry level is A2+ according to the Council of Europe Common Framework. Learners are expected to have the skill of collecting and processing information. The target level is B1 in German for Specific Purposes according to CEFR.

Assessment methods and criteria
Home assignment evaluation, Didactic test

Attending 70% of the sessions Completion of all prescribed assignments Exam is based on the summary of materials/topics covered in the sessions. Active participation in the e-learning course in Moodle with a minimum success rate of 60% including submission of all e-learning correspondence assignments. Subject completion requirements in case of a distance teaching mode: Based on the teacher´s requirements, the student participates in online lessons according to the schedule and completes the assigned tasks via the online systems Moodle / MS Teams.
