Course content
Languages. Family. Travelling. Leisure. Everyday Media. Professions. My workplace. Summative written test comprising the standardized test items relevant to the content of the course.

Learning outcomes
The course is designed to foster language skills at the level of A2. Emphasis is put on speaking, listening and reading comprehension and grammar. The one-term course includes topics related to everyday conversation.
Students are able to make themselves understood both in writing and spoken language in everyday situations. They are able to describe their needs and their surroundings and can write simple texts about things they are familiar with and to give reasons for their opinions.
Prerequisites
Communicative competence CEFR A2 in general German.

Assessment methods and criteria
Didactic test

Submitting assigned seminar papers. Exam: test in writing (reading and listening comprehension, grammar and vocabulary cloze test). Pass: 60%. Submitting assigned seminar papers of the e-learning course with 60% pass mark.
