Course content
Business contact. Culture - Russian business area. Communication in business. Commercial correspondence. Exhibition, fair. Company presentation.

Learning outcomes
The course objective is enhancement of general vocabulary and business vocabulary, grammatical structures and skills in both general Russian and in Russian for specific purposes (speaking, writing and reading skill and listening comprehension). The final level of communicative competence at the end of the course should be B1.
The course is designed to build on high school language skills. The expected language level is B1 according to the Council of Europe Framework. Students are able to communicate in everyday topics and can make themselves understood when travelling to the countries where the target language is spoken.
Prerequisites
Communicative competence: CEFR B1 in general Russian.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written examination, Home assignment evaluation, Didactic test

Submitting assigned seminar papers. Moodle. Mahara. Videoconference. Credit: test: 60%: (vocabulary, grammar). Test format: matching expressions, antonyms/synonyms, cloze etc.
