Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Methods of individual activities
Learning outcomes
The course is designed to build on language skills acquired within the UPR1 course. At the end of the two semesters four basic language skills are developed: reading and listening comprehension, writing and speaking skills. The final level of communicative competence at the end of the course should be A2.
Students are able to understand and use most frequent phrases. Students at this level can introduce themselves and ask simple questions of personal relevance and are also able to make themselves understood in case the conversation is lead at a slow pace.
Prerequisites
Communicative competence: CEFR A1 in general Russian. Meeting the requirements of the UPR1A course in all 4 skills in ESP.

Assessment methods and criteria
Home assignment evaluation, Didactic test

Submitting assigned seminar papers. Credit: test: 60%: (vocabulary, grammar). Test format: matching expressions, antonyms/synonyms, cloze etc. The credit test date will be announced via stag.
