Learning outcomes
|
The course is designed to foster language skills at the level of B1. Emphasis is put on speaking, listening and reading comprehension and grammar. The target level of the course is B1+.
Students are able to make themselves understood both in writing and spoken language in everyday situations. They are able to describe their needs and their surroundings and can write simple texts about things they are familiar with and to give reasons for their opinions. The target level of the course is B1+.

- for non-native speakers Communicative competence CEFR B1 in general Sapnish.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Written examination, Home assignment evaluation, Student performance assessment, Oral performance analysis
During the semester, students will prepare essays on the topics that will be discussed. At the end of the course, the subject will be finished by a written test focused on grammatical phenomena. Students will also choose an article from their field of study, 2-page A4 in original (Spanish) and translate it into Czech. The translation will be part of the final evaluation. Active participation in lessons.
