Course content
The course will include a wide range of activities primarily oriented toward the development of communicative abilities, non-violent communication, empathy, and social skills (building and maintaining interpersonal relationships, problem solving, cooperation). It will also support positive self-concept and self-understanding. All activities will be practical in nature, allowing every participant to engage actively in their implementation.

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Independent critical reading - 50 hours per semester
  • Contact teaching - 26 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 5 hours per semester
  • Preparation for a credit (assessment) - 2 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
This course focuses on personal and social development and wellbeing through experiential learning and subsequent reflection. It aims to enhance each individual's personal and interpersonal capacities for living with oneself and with others in the current social context, as well as to develop life and social skills (interactional and relational) necessary for meaningful relationships with others.
Reflection on one's own emotions and behavioural patterns; self-reflection. Applying the principles of non-violent communication in both simulated and real interactions. Developing active listening, empathy, and cooperation.
