Course content
How to apply for a job. What to include in the monitoring report and how to write it. What to include in the journal and how to write it. Doing the internship.

Learning outcomes
Students participate in an internship (120 hours of work), which aims to introduce them to the reality and actual needs of the target institutions in the fields of business, non-profit or administration. Their target institutions are chosen by the students themselves and students also apply for their chosen position independently, if necessary with the assistance of the instructor. Students work under the supervision of an institution-selected mentor, keep an internship journal and reflect on their performance and experience. Evaluation by the mentor, activity during the internship, and submission of a final report are the basis for awarding credit.
Students will learn to apply theoretical knowledge in training jobs, develop understanding of contemporary situation in companies + other organizations, and their needsk. They will develop skills in the field of internal/external company communication in English or/and Czech, public relations, and team work, and also the evaluation skills in the field of the company culture and its influence on communication, public relations and cooperation.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment, Work-related product analysis

Internship in the length of 120 hours (in one or more blocks, typically after the end of the lecturing period; during the semester only upon prior approval of the instructor) Monitoring report (description of the company and its management, diary, evaluation of the training; 1500-2500 words). Collecting data on the company, its product or the projects for the follow-up seminar Project (BPROJ).
