Learning outcomes
|
The course is integrated with Introduction to Teaching English as A Foreign Language and Selected Chapters in General Pedagogy. The course comes after Teaching Practice and Its Reflection I (observations) and prepares student teachers to be ready to perform their role of the teacher in the following semester. During Teaching Practice and Its Reflection II students will gain ELT experience in microteachings, will be trained in reflecting their experience and thus will develop their professional competence. Contents of microteachings is integrated with Teaching English as A Foreign Language and Selected Chapters in General Pedagogy and functions as an integrative element of the pedagogical block.
The professional competence of the student is developed by means of structured observation and analysis of specific aspects of teaching and learning English language.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination, Home assignment evaluation, Discussion, Student portfolio analysis
Interview based on submitted materials. Active participation in lessons (2 missed classes tolerated) and submitted assigned documents (plans, materials of assigned microteachings, Evaluation sheets (reflection); reviews of creditworthy sources; a list of the literature studied).
