Learning outcomes
|
The main aim of the course is to further develop the knowledge base for teaching, i.e. the system of facts and concepts previously acquired as well as the skill to orientate in complex issues related to the content and process of teaching / learning English to primary school learners.
Students learn to identify specific educational problems and pose questions, critically analyse and evaluate one´s own experience as well as that gained by others; in this way they begin to develop their professional teaching competence.

Home assignment evaluation, Student performance assessment, Work-related product analysis, Discussion, Systematic monitoring, Student portfolio analysis, Class observation
Active participation in seminars (max.2 missed classes) and submission of the required materials: plans of microteaching performances, evaluation forms, annotations of required readings as specified during the course, list of literature. Format of the exam: interview based on the submitted materials
